1985 Fuso MTB by Dave Moulton

Not to be confused with the road bike of the same name, this apparently was an ultra lightweight MTB designed for cyclocross use - limited to 50 made.

Where are they now?!

That looks like a really interesting bike - kind of a British Ritchey in a way? It seems to answer the design issues that had turned me off Brit MTBs of the time, namely sluggish handling and unnecessary weight. ..Wonder how many are still rolling?

Thank's for sharing! :)

looks interesting...how was the weight on 'em ?

It looks incredibly short, hence the ginormous stem I guess, but (unless it's a trick of the picture) being that far forward on something so short must be entertaining!

I know where there's a NOS one, same color combo as above.

Well...if its still there.

I really shouldn't ask, but I am really taken with it..

Really interesting. It does look very compact and short, almost looks to have 'big wheels'.

For what it's worth think Moulton was building in the US by '85.
