1985 Cook Bros. Racing: Bonz-O-Fury

I'd love a back story as well. Most of us are familiar with Cook Bros history in BMX and components but I've never seen a Cook Bros MTB like this one.

The Fury I posted does not belong to me but is owned by an long time old friend, early-on MTB shop owner, and vintage Mt. bike collector. So... I have no plan. All Cook Bros. Racing products were made "in house" (other than small parts like QR springs and squire rods)!!!

I was planning to dust off my Fury that was made in the same batch as my friend's and post it... But if what I am posting is "frowned upon" I won't!

That bike is sexy AF.

By all means, dust off yours and share! We all like bikes here wether owned by manufacturers or normal folk. It just states in forum rules that bike of the month entries will be frowned upon or disqualified if owned by the manufacturer or museum as that will most probably get most of the votes and will be unfair to other entries.
