i picked this up as a frame and fork recently, after a placing a winning bid on ebay. its a yes racing triton from about 1984. i havent seen many of these bikes and info on them is scarce so if anyone knows more, please fill me in
the chrome and graphics are both original, but considering its 3 and a half decades old, its survived really well!
Where one project became two! I figure i may as well make the most of what spare time I’ve got and build both bikes at once, although the zaskar probably takes priority to be fair
The forks are original and came with the frame, but the seatpost is new.
As much as id like everything to be original/ 80s correct, my budget wont allow it, so starting off some repop with a diacompe seatclamp...
