1984 Overburys Connoisseur Build

Dirt Disciple
I was lucky enough to be given an Overburys Connoisseur Touring bike last week. It's Reynolds 531 tubing and has a bit of a mixture of parts, mostly original I think bar the rear wheel, rear mech and saddle & stem. I won't be doing a full restoration as I like original paint. It does have some rusty spots but I will clean those up as best I can and then protect them to slow down it's advancement. The drive side crank arm is slightly bent so will be changing that too which is a shame as I love a bit of drillium.

That's a pity, can you not just replace the crank?
If you don't want to I know a good home for the rings 😉

I will have a look for another pair of strong light crank arms but if I don't have any luck I will replace the whole thing. Unfortunately I have about 15 projects those rings could be used on 😬
