1984 Motobecane - Mt. Becane

Here's a bit of an old timer from 1984, The Motobecane - Mt Becane. Nearly all original except for tyres and I think rear derailleur.

Heavy old beast but a great find

It is lovely, a true pioneer. Can you tell me about the thumbies? What kind are they, the shape is quite unique to me. Also, you've fired up my obsessive compulsive tendencies, is that we but on the seatpost backwards?

Thanks for that, I didn't think the derailleur was correct. Think the Thumbies are Suntour, will get some better pictures when it arrives.

Thank You
