So, I've come by this bike as a favour more than need !
It's 100% original from the guy that bought it in 1983. I'm not too sure about that as I think the mechs came out a bit later !
Some nice components, some pretty average but I'd imagine it was a mid-priced bike when he bought it.
I can't find any info about it anywhere. I've managed to track down a couple of Mixte on the interweb but that's about it.
Stronglight Double 88 chainset that's silver and black.
Sachs R 3500 Classic long cage rear mech
Sachs F3500 Classic front mech.
VETTA (Italian I think) bars, stem seat post, and rear rack.
Canyon saddle that's pretty comfy actually.
Nice canti brakes.
700c Rigida rims with Sachs hubs and QR.
14 speed indexed touring set up.
I'll post some pictures after the weekend.
It's in pretty good nick seeing as it hasn't been ridden for nearly 10 years.
Even though I was a reluctant purchaser, it's probably the most untouched and original bike I've ever had from that era.
Any Peugeot aficionados on here ?
Here's hoping !
