This bike is a bit of a bitsa. I bought the frame many years ago to do the Eroica. It came from a seller in France, and was in the usual red TI colour scheme. It was badged competition and the frame number was a 1982 one. The tubing is 531 including forks and stays.
It was in pretty shabby condition, and isn't a top of the line model, so last year I had it powder coated. I painted on the details and applied the decals myself. I chose the blue as a nod to the Raleigh Grifter I owned as a lad, and because at every retro bike event you turn up to, there are hundreds of red Raleighs.
I bought it as frame and fork only and built with bits I had lying around, so it's not period correct.
