For sale is what I'm 99% sure is a 1982 Eddy Merckx Professional due to the over bb cable guides, flat crown fork, seat stay cap logo etc. The serial number is G 7 E 1320 which doesn't help much if compared to the info available on http://www.cadre.org/Merckx/ Size is 57.5 ST 56.5 TT. Columbus tubing.
Paint is far from perfect, some chips and a few little surface rust spots but nothing major and seems to be the orginal colour. Unfortunately a previous owner thought it would be good to spray the forks red to match! I've had a go at getting it off and have made a fair amount of progress, there is also some pitting but they are gorgeous looking forks so hopefully a bit of TLC will get them mostly sorted.
Comes with Campagnolo Super Record front derailleur, Campagnolo seat post bolt, OMAS headset, not sure on bottom bracket make. Doesn't come with the seat post shown in the picture but I can throw in the turbo if you want it. Price drop £200, any questions just ask and I'll do my best to answer.
