1980's (?) Raleigh Rocky

Picked this bike up a while ago, and haven't had much time to work on it. It's almost done, I just need to finish tensioning-truing the rear wheel. I have no clue what year it is, the serial is M5-F0898, if that means anything to anyone. I think it may be a Canadian model. Anyway, here're some pics.

It's just Raleigh 502MT tubing, which I assume to be some sort of heavy cromo. I dug the stem, brake levers, and shifters so I bought it. The most expensive thing so far was all the new spokes.

Been busy, but finally finished the bike up. Took it for a quick test around the driveway, and it handles like a tank (in a good way). Very relaxed geometry, something I'm not used to on a retro bike. Should be fun on the trail.

tank like is a bit harsh i think ,gentle relaxed and quite plesant ,
my long winded take on them

Thanks, guys! I hope it holds up to some northeast pounding. Unfortunately, snowed in at the moment, so she's resting in the basement for now, haha.
