1980 Crested Butte video

A friend from BITD sent me these links to video he shot in Crested Butte in 1980. I'm all over it, wearing the yellow t-shirt, but the best shot is Scot Nicol riding no-hands while juggling.

Keep in mind that in 1980 no one had any idea this mountain bike thing would get so crazy.

Oh to have been there back then. There's a certain enthusiasm and attitude about off-road riding that's different to anything I've known over here. It's just more laid back and 'earthy' than I think we ever could have been. Great stuff.

Fantastic footage I love this stuff I love the gear that they wear reminds me of my 1st trip on MTB to the Lakes in 88 wearing jeans a barbour jacket and sailor pumps My mate Phil wore all denim, great in the wet :roll: Cheers Repack
