1978 Emperor Sport

I used to live very close to the Emperor Sport shop on Lower Road / Manor Lane in Sutton during the 1970s and would often gaze in the window on the way home from school. I remember what seemed like loads of different coloured frames on racks in the shop and group sets in the window. I think that they also sold De Rosa and/or Colnago frames as well as the Emperor Sport branded ones.

I recall a bit later they moved to Church Hill Road in Cheam and I read on this site that one of the owners is or was involved with Dauphin Sport on Box Hill?
