I had money in my paypal. That is always dangerous thing when something 'interesting' pops up. An ebay reminder showed this collection only listed at a cheaper price that was hard to resist and on my route between customers.
It is lovely. Lots of little quirks that make it a bit above average over other bikes I've had.
Lots of Spidel branded parts - Simplex LJ front mech, that titanium rear mech with the aluminium body, Spidel 'Professional' hubs (which appear very smooth despite their age). The rear wheel is a little wobbly but can be sorted. Never seen Huret aluminium dustcaps before.
The brakes are Mafac 2000, little works of art in themselves. bar and stem are Cinelli with the makers name engraved. Hatta Swan headset.
