I built up my Witcomb frame last fall for a classic local 200K to compare the ride with my "modern" bikes so the main picture has lights, Speedplays, and clinchers. The "modern" bikes have all seen the same course many times. The Witcomb is still a sweet ride after all these years inspite of being quite a different geometry - the 70s bikes were really something. It will remain built up!
It is as close to original as I can get it right now. The rims are MA2's from late 80s, the original seatpost was Weyless (which stuck years ago so was replaced with Campy Chorus).
The thing I have always loved about the frame is the lugwork. Heart cutouts and thinly filed down points. Note the almost total lack of braze ons, not even a bottle cage.
