Thank you, one thing that I would like to ask is about the mudguards on this bike, they are made by Bluemels, are these the original mudguards that came with the bike or are they accessories that were added later? Any advice would be much appreciated

Thanks Spokesmann and Gavr, Long term I will fit another tyre, I think I shall for for another like the rear tyre as I think it looks nice :) but for now I shall keep it going like this until that tyre is done :)

Bluemels made quality mudguards and pumps, also some car steering wheels, originally celluloid, later a safer plastic. They could be original, the trent came with plastic guards.

Hi great to see your careful restoration of this classic Raleigh. Keep a hold of those celluloid mudguards, they're hard to get! Where in Scotland are you? I broke up a Trent a couple of years ago. And my brother in Aberdeen now owns my old blue 1960 Trent tourist !

Hi there, so sorry for the late reply, only just saw this :/ cool username btw, guessing you have a Raleigh Lenton? I am actually in Aberdeen too, ah nice I've seen pictures of the blue Trent Tourists, they look the business :cool: :cool: :cool:
