First things first, it is not a TT bicycle, it a ladies touring bicycle - albeit with an unusual frame design, my ladies Hobbs is equally unusual.

I'm not surprised at the lack of contact from the shop, they'll not have a clue anyway. The shop (originally and in South End from around 1956) has moved since I cycled past it twice a day on my way to school - often going in before making my way home (on my Holdsworth Mistral).

I've two GB frames, I know who built mine and can make an educated guess as to who built this ladies frame.

I do that, I'm the only person I can get any sense out of ! Like you try and help with someone's bicycle and then you realise you're speaking a different language.
