I understand I over valued the saddle initially but I don't think there is any comparison to be made with original vintage products and a new resissue. Perhaps not to you and for what you wanted but if you are looking to build up an era correct bike then buying a new saddle wouldn't be appropriate.

It's worth searching for "Sold prices" on eBay to avoid all those speculative sellers.
I couldn't find much close to £100.
Sometimes a rare model in beautiful condition can fly though.
If the price is right on ebay, it would sell in a day or two.

Sure, but I'm happy to wait for someone looking for something of this age, no rush. Better than selling it to someone who isn't bothered about the age and is just looking for Professional Standard of any age. It is why I listed it here as I thought perhaps this would be the right way to find someone looking for precisly a '62 saddle for their rebuild. I didn't know the forum and perhaps misjudged who uses it. No big deal.

The point I was making is that if a new reissue one goes for £110 than a used one is fair at £85ono and the new one is by Brooks…There is a comparability.
