1952 Hobbs ' Blue Riband' Frame and Fork

NOW SOLD

It is with great regret I have to put up this frame for sale before I've had the chance to build it up. Unfortunately I have had a few unexpected bills, one being a very large vet bill and need to clear a few items.
I have only had this frame a few months after purchasing on here. So really just asking what I paid for it. Its barely been out the box and not had anything fitted that it didn't come with.

Seat tube - (ctt): 21 inch (53cm)
Top Tube - (ctc): 21 inch (53cm)
Rear Dropout width: 120mm
Seatpost size: 27.2
Frame No: E 2516 Fork No: E 2516
Comes with period correct TDC Bottom Bracket and Headset

Recent restoration to original colours by Mario Vaz. It has obviously been built up since and has a few chips here and there but also comes with a touch up pot. A very nice repaint.

Looking for £180 plus postage at cost to mainland UK.
Usual payment by, Paypal, bank transfer (preferred) or cash.
Any questions etc just drop me a line and I will answer as soon as possible.
I also have my Colnago Master frame and fork for sale.
Thanks for looking
Jamie

Shame you did not get to build and ride it after the long wait you had to get it.

Re:

Hi mate
Yeah, really gutted to have to sell this but needs must I suppose.
I have had a few mounting vet bills lately as two of my dogs have had different rare conditions. While 1 is insured I have had to outlay an awful lot before I get it back and the other, my lead dog is not insured due to the conditions when she was rescued many years ago.
Hopefully now the Colnago is sold the pressure is eased, so may hold onto it yet. Never been urgent, just a case of managing priorities and if its not built and being used it can help financially.
Cheers
Jamie

That's a really nice frame.

Just 3" too small or you would have had a customer
