Dirt Disciple
This classic british lightweight is in lovely condition, apart from a very minor blemish to the paintwork and features original components (apart from the front brake).
It rides beautifully, and is perfectly roadworthy.
The specification:
Frame 1951 Claud Butler Olympic frame with bi-laminated lugs, frame no. 511 127; 23" seat tube; 531 DB tubing and round fork blades
Wheels Fiamme sprint rims 32/40 on Airlite large-flange hubs built with 15/17 spokes tied and soldered
Chainset Stronglight steel cottered cranks with single ring (currently held on with modern bolts/ties)- Bayliss Wiley bottom bracket
Pedals Chater-Lea
Gears Single-speed fixed
Brakes Galli front
Stem/Bars Strata alloy stem with Maes alloy bars
Saddle Brooks B17
A rare bike with a good heritage (Reg Harris' mechanic built the wheels), and featuring bi-laminate frame construction (that even these days is only seen on very expensive steel frames). http://www.classiclightweights.co.u...se pm me. Located in Macclesfield, Cheshire.
