1942 Cleveland Welding Company "Resurrection"

Re:

Well past due on progress, This morning fitted most of her back together.
Coming along nicely. Can't seem to find the rest of my seat post, Yes it is a mile long for my stubbily legs(meaning the guts. It will turn up at some point I'm sure.

It has been black dog approved :D .

Also notice the carbon headset spacer for weight savings

Still unsure of the bars, but all I have at the moment in cruiser style. Once seat is fitted a much better idea then.

Re:

Sean, Thanks for the comments, Obviously not an easy one to bring back. Wasn't really sure how to build either. Just one part at a time :D

i guess the good thing about these bikes is that you can build them however you feel like, i would probably change to a rigid fork if it were me but it looks good :D

Re:

Aye, Rigid fork just sitting here, looked good, but the old wrists won't take it too much anymore, Hence the red squishy and the height is appropriate. Soon will be put to the test. 1st find the missing seatpost parts, 2nd one more part to source for front mech. or I;ll just have to make it, Then see what a 72 year old girl can do

Re:

Thanks THM, just needing to find a shim. 25.4-? I have 28.6 and up front mechs procreating in the bin. Most like likely going to be a double shim job  .

I cut down a steerer shim and beat it into size around an old tube.
