For sale is an Imperial Petrel tandem made by Joe Cook in 1939. The bike has a Sturmey Archer three speed hub gear coupled to a three speed Cyclo rear derailleur (which requires a cable). 26 x 1 1/4" wheels and (newish Schwalbe) tyres. The rear rim is a Rigida with dimpled brake surface so not original. There are three Chater Lea chainsets in good condition, alloy mudguards, two Brooks saddles and it has drum brakes which will need adjusting. Size is 22 1/2" front, 20 1/2" rear.
