Dirt Disciple
19” 1994 (Tange Prestiege) Stump Jumper.
Professional re-spray in Pink with original Specialized graphics (that I was given by Specialized when I worked in one of their major dealers). Also when being sprayed I had another cable stop fitted on the top tube so it runs V brakes better. I also left the worm so you can run cantis. Has a few scratches and cable rub, since the spray, but nothing major, Cosmetic chips only. I have been running it single speed although I also had a Lizard skin (included) to protect the chain stay (although I pulled a big protective sticker off of it the other day that left a big tacky mark that I haven’t washed off yet, that can be seen in the pictures).
As well as the original forks which were sprayed pink with the bike (haven’t been fitted since the spray) I have a set of Marzocchi MX pro Air forks that have seen very little use since I bought them new (they cost £180 in 2005). They are in very good condition apart from a few scratches and a bit of cable rub. It is also fitted with a Stronglight needle bearing headset that is rolling sweet. Fitted is the original stem a Specialized alloy one that with a polish would look great again. I will also include a Planet X seat post.
I am looking for £150 ono posted to your door (UK only)

I also have a set of Single speed wheels.
The hubs are Planet X Goliath disc hubs Dark grey/Black. The rear is fitted to a Mavic 717 the front an On One Retard. They are true and running smooth and the Cassette type freebody is running smooth and fitted with an On One groove armada and lock ring (I think its an 18 or 19 tooth about 50 miles use).

Looking for £60 posted

AH My beloved Vitus...
Sadly back in the late 80s early 90s Vitus and Alan used to bond the tubes to the lugs rather than weld. They had an expected life of about 5 years. After I had finished couriering I decided my old faithful needed a respary (it turns out this attacks the bonding). After two more years (total life of about 15 years) riding as a Fixed gear, on my way home one night I give the pedals some coming out of a junction to find the bike feels STRANGE as I look down I realise that the front end is wobbling all over the place., I slow to a stop te find the bike has disintagrated under me. Cue a 7 mile walk home..
So a total waste of money on a lovely Bob Jackson respray...
Oh well lesson learnt never buy a French bonded frame from the late 80's.
I cut the two panelled yubes out which now hang in my shed..
