Yep, i'm out. The more i've looked at it all your getting is the frame and forks only original part left is the chainset. The main things putting me off is firstly 3/4's of the brake noodle doodle has been cut off which makes me think the brake cable will rub on the seatstays running cantilevers. Secondly there's alot of rust around the frame which may or may not be fine and thirdly it'll need new decals, so basically you might aswell respray the frame.Well, that escalated quickly
I can only assume it's collateral damage from removing the noodle and covered over using the finest random colour paint they had lying around in the shed/garage. Would be a bit weary of that as they could have been a bit over zealous with saw/file/grinder during the removal and this area is already stressed with seatpost/QR action so wouldn't want it compromised any further. Wise to give it a miss unless you could physically see before you buy and you were happy with the price...Plus where i've circled not sure what's going on there
Id say yes to thatIs it time to dig mine out of the shed??
I think that was a fair price for it really bearing in mind the condition and the parts on it. I totally forgot about the auction because i was fixated on getting this finished, maiden test ride tonight for my 90 CinderconeWent for £330
