180mm fork into 125mm steerer ?

Hi all retrofolk

After some advice if you would be so kind .

About to get a frame with a 125mm headtube . Seen for sale a nice looking ahead fork for it that's 180mm . Can I get a headset with a low enough stack height AND a stem to fit ? Very doubtful I guess , unless I get the steerer threaded

If you're really desperate a Crank Bros headset has a 20mm stack height, and a Syntace stemhas a minimum 34mm clamp, so you're in!

I had the same trying to fit a fox fork onto a P7. Went the same route with crank bros HS and an FSA stem @32mm i think it was 32 :?

Would say that i dont like those headsets. The interface isnt nice to adjust, seems too delicate :? and you can get it wrong. Id use it in an emergency but id look to see if theres any other inset systems you can use.
