Dirt Disciple
Im finally going to let go of my much loved and coveted Dave Yates Diablo.
I was the first owner from new (I saved up and bought it from Walton Street Cycles in Oxford when I was 16). I used it as my main bike for a couple of years until going to Uni where I started building my own frames so it has sat in the garage ever since with all of its original parts which include Pace forks, Maguras, USe seat pin, Prototype Giro Saddle and Deore drivetrain with thumbies. I built the wheels from Mavic 321s laced with black DT spokes to a pair of Carbon centred sealed bearing hubs I picked up on my first trip to Taiwan and they still roll as smoothly as the day I built them. They are shod with a pair of Continental Baja Supercross tyres which are understandably a little perished and worn but as they are original I decided to leave them on for the sale. I have renovated the Pace forks as when I came to clean her up the elastomers had turned to mush. They have had the original elastomer pack put into them from the contact I found on here (thank you very much)
I would really like her to go to a good home (only having to sell due to getting married and now need to pay for it all!) and I would like £600 ONO
If you are interested I have put her up on Ebay, just search for Dave Yates Diablo or follow this link
