i think they got the lbs mixed up with kg's nice cranks and parts fitted though shiney is as shiney does

Rims look about right according to Weight Weenies: http://weightweenies.starbike.com/listings.php, not sure about the frame though.

Even if it's a couple of pound out it's still very light, I'm not sure how puncture proof <300g tyres will be though, probably not very. Just put a pair of Schwalbe Marathon's on my "road MTB", they're about 950g each, about 4lbs for the pair in old money.
