Another one that has to go is my '13 Stumpjumper Carbon 29er.
Had this thing years and pulled it out of the garage last summer and sent it to my LBS, spending around £400 servicing it and replacing block and chain, rebuilding both hubs and headset, full service of the brakes etc, etc, with the intention of using it to shred through the woods instead of using my older stuff, however a 29er epic appeared and this has been sitting collecting dust ever since...
I rode it a couple of weekends ago and forgot how quick it is, it has however developed a creak from the bottom bracket which was rebuild with a new DUB adjuster ring etc when serviced and to be honest, I can't be arsed with looking at it!
It's never going to be concourse, with a good few marks and scars on it, but that's why it's not £600...
Spec is as follows:
- 17.5" Frame
- Carbon FACT frame
- Manitou Minute TS Air fork
- Carbon bars
- 1 x 11 Drivetrain with XT rear mech and SRAM cranks
- Front & Rear XT Disc brakes
- Roval Wheelset
£350 £300 - Based in Milton Keynes
