I have an old Raleigh Alaska frame which I've done a singlespeed conversion on. I could do with running a tensioner on it (got a Superstar one) but the frame has no mech hanger mount as it's integrated into the 100GS mech.
I've managed to separate the hanger from the mech but it has a pressed in pivot rather than a threaded hole.
I thought about removing the pivot stub and drilling/tapping a hole but the pivot is a slightly larger diameter than I need to wind a tap into.
Anyone know of any other hangers that would fit or any tricks to get around this?
