That's not so far fetched. I know a guy on another forum, about bothies, that told me about a girl student he met in Poland.
She had a recognisable Scottish surname so he asked her where it came from. Turns out her grandfather left Scotland in the 1930's to got to Spain to fight Franco and the Fascists, when they lost to the Fascists he moved to Russia but ended up fighting the Germans in WW2, he then settled in Poland at the end of the war. Amazing that he survived 10 years of war.

Gaz we could have a sweepy based on how well we do in the race :)

ahhhhh sorry not very quick on the uptake- I am going to see if one of the atherton bros wants my ticket in that case!
