I know the manufacturers say that 10 speed chains are stronger than 3/32", but does anyone have any experience (first hand or otherwise), especially as related to heavily loaded touring bikes?
When I took my Dave Yates to Australia, it was 3x7, and that is probably how I'll build it up again, but I can see the advantages (and disadvantages) to 1x10 or 2x10 for a touring setup.
Anyone any thoughts?
