10 spd chain on 11 spd cassette?

As per title, will it work? Anybody tried it""
I know a narrower chain eg 10 spd on a 9 cassette is fine but. Ive never done it the other way round..... and see post below; not recommended even though the SRAM 11 speed spacing is same as 10 spd

the pins may catch on the next bigger sprocket.

Thanks to my concerns about this, i've never even bothered trying.

It won't work

The chain will catch on the teeth of the sprocket next to the one the chain is running on

got on the 'puter to do a search and seems answer is yes but not wise as it may wear the cassette.
