Hi,So it seems this (or similar) would be only option?
Or else use the 10sp cassette with a MTB derailleur
InterestingHi,
I had a microshift road 10speed flatbarshifter,
https://www.mtb-news.de/forum/t/ein-en-fuchs-fuer-die-dame.887973/post-15845783with 10speed cassette (even 11-36) with an old LX 550 MTB rear mech (polished) at a 1x10 set-up
https://www.mtb-news.de/forum/t/ein-en-fuchs-fuer-die-dame.887973/post-15852851It worked perfect! Just can't stop to do further changes on that bike.

They don't have a obvious Model number, most likely they are called TS83-10.
Just looks like those are nowadays similar hard to get as 8 speed Microshift thumbies.
But there is an ebay offer in France currently for a full set (not mine):

Yes...for years. I hate rapid fire front...its the lack of trim. So 8 speed rapid fire rear with thumbie front. Its not pretty, but it works a treat.Has anyone ever used two different types of shifter on the same bike?
ie a rapid fire for the RM and a friction thumbie for the front?
That actually looks quite good !Yes...for years. I hate rapid fire front...its the lack of trim. So 8 speed rapid fire rear with thumbie front. Its not pretty, but it works a treat.
