Morning,

I'm not even sure if these things are still made, but if they are I'm after your suggestions/recommendations for a new set of carbon forks with a 1" threadless steerer that'll look good on a 90's titanium frame. Nothing too aero tho!.

At the moment its fitted with a second hand vitus set which visually look in nice condition but I don't know their history and it's making me slightly jittery when descending  .

Cheers Matt

Re:

Thanks guys,

after an afternoon of perusing google images of skinny tubed bikes with carbon forks I have plumped for a set of Columbus Minimals.

I now need guidance on where to get a suitable 1" expanding bung, as according to the interweb star-nuts ain't cool for carbon steerers! :D .

Cheers Matt

I've been looking too - thanks!

Incidentally, I'd found a set of Sanko cro-mo forks - 220mm steerer and nar stangled fut inserted, 880 grams all in! Not bad for steel, I'm all a dither now, steel or carbon

Oooh....
