1 Inch threadless road forks, and headset.

I have an old Trek frame with quill stem, and 1 inch threaded head set, but no forks, I have decided to go with the threadless parts. I need the forks, and headset, I have no experience in doing this so a bit of advice would be great too

What model trek is it as you need to make sure you get forks appropriate length for frame and brake drop etc.

Trek 1200 but the old model from 2000

Need to know the head tube length on the frame - you will need something approx 70mm longer than the head tube to give space on the steerer for the headset and to clamp the stem.
