Just breaking a proflex 852 which has a ti flexstem/bar single piece setup which I was going to put on here and eBay for sale in 1 1/4" which is quill fitment. Pics available......

Not sure what to say for the stem/ bar combo, the flexstem still works as it should and the ti ones are obviously rare and desire able. My plan was to just strip the bike with the flexstem and put it all on ebay for auction and see how it does as lots of the parts are in good useable condition and quality parts.

I'm going to remove them from the bike in a bit and double check them over, but I'm going to be looking for £125 due to rarity and condition. I'm happy to put them up for auction and see what they fetch, but the last time I saw one for sale on ebay it was up for nearly £200. Hardly ever see one for sale..........

Got the bar/stem combo off the bike and given it a quick wipe over and check, the reach is 135mm and the quill is stamped 28.6mm which is correct for fitting inside a 1 1/4" fork. It's fitted with a green elastomer and still compresses fine although the travel is obviously limited....... The bars are uncut at 560mm and the stem has the standard front brake hanger still fitted. There are a few marks on the aluminium stem joint area but only to be expected on a part of this age and could be removed by carefully filing/sanding/polishing but will leave that to the new owner.... 590g in weight on my scales. The pictures show the condition and it's pretty damn good to me..... give you chance to have a think but will be listing the parts I've taken off this bike on ebay tomorrow.
