Sup everyone,
I’m currently running an old rigid steel legged Pace fork (some version of RC30 I think), however I’m looking to disc convert this bike so the Pace forks will unfortunately have to go...
I’m looking for something spec’d as closely to the pace as possible, with a disc mount of course;
- 390 mm axle to crown (not too critical but closer is better)
- 1” steerer
- hopefully not heavier than about 1kg...
I’m not completely against modern forks, however they all seem to come with 1-1/8” steerers and I don’t like the idea of trusting alloy steerers for some burly XC use...
Was there ever a version of the Kona P2 forks with 1” steerers? Or did Orange ever produce any old steel forks with a disc mount?..
Hope someone can help,
Cheers!
