1” brake hanger for a quill stem

You can sleeve them with a length of 1&1/8 steerer tube, but it's nasty and cheap.

But that's a headset fit model, not the quill clamp.
You might not have enough spacers/ thread to fit an alloy one in the headset, and they are prone to causing problems☹

The headset fitting hangers can kill the headset or fork threads with the brake leverage, so stem fit is preferable, but inch (22.2) was a lot rarer than 1&1/8 quill fitting.

A popular alternative is to fit a kona style hanger mounted on the fork crown - we sell them new from diacompe, tektro and problemsolvers.
Less prone to fork judder if you've got a nice fork and powerful brake

The Paul's price is a bit baffling, you could probably get something custom machined locally if you want to spend that much.

The fork hanger works better - I never knew they were called Kona Boner - we just call them kona (style) hangers.
Maybe that was already off the menu in Bristol (I'm confident they wouldn't do that now)
- my colleague Andy worked in the central Bristol kona dealer early 90s I'll ask him.

I might have a Tioga one from bitd in the stash somewhere. I think I got it for a fat yo eddy build but that never happened as frame was too small.
