Dirt Disciple
Hi everyone, moved my parts onto a different frame so I'd like to sell this beauty. I have really enjoyed riding it for the last year and a half.
2008 model, straight 1 1/8" steerer, 135mm QR rear end, 18"ish frame (medium). Takes a 27.2mm seat post. Front derailleur compatible.
Shock is the original Fox Float RP23. It was serviced by TF Tuned in about December 2022, I might have a receipt in my emails somewhere. Lockout works (!), they also replaced the shaft which is why it is black and not gold, and had new bushings as well.
Includes hanger, Madison seat clamp and Superstar headset (all parts included, good smooth bearings)
THE BAD
- Has some paint wear from braided cables, I've tried to show this as well as I can.
- Involved in a crash a year ago that snapped the forks and pulled the lower headset cup out. I was paranoid I'd flared the headtube, but measured it repeatedly with verniers and its completely round.
- Some minor tyre rub on inside of left swingarm, I put a sticker where I noticed this to try and stop it getting worse, got a slightly narrower rear tyre shortly afterwards.
- Shock could probably do with another service by now, I haven't checked the service interval but it still feels lovely
- I have never even thought about the pivot bearings, they feel fine and there is no rear end play but who knows how long these ones have been there!
THE GOOD
- Looks cool
- Rides well
- Turns heads
- Says Orange on the side
- Comes with free stickers (already attached)
I'd like£170 £140 £120 for this, collection only in Sheffield S10 London SE6
Thanks
Adam
