01.01.70

I'll fire up the Quattro...

I would assume something to do with your own system clock?
Not sure if the UserCP on the forum allows the date to be destroyed so badly. :D

What does Windows say?
Had a power cut recently?

No. It was only one in the whole lists of posts said last post date was as above!

Checked it several times so I must be going mad..... :(

I might be having a fake memory here, but last week I had to swap out the batteries between two cars, and when I put the good one back in my Audi, I'm sure the digital clock and date changed to 01.01.70.

Odd. Just the top post or all postings?

Could you do a screen shot if it happens again. The post time is set on the server so not so clear how this might occur...

Just the one post, but not the top one. In the middle. I would not know how to do the screen shot thing as I lack in the computer knowledge department. Which is why this so mystified me.

It's UNIX time...

+1 to that. I Googled "1st January 1970" and Unix time was amongst the top hits. I guess the machine just defaults to that in exceptional circumstances, a sort of variant of the over-hyped Millennium Bug.
