This 1995 or 6, 17.5" c-c Giant Escaper cro-mo frame with 270mm of seatpost inside the frame. I can't shift it but haven't tried the more extreme methods.
Really quite a a nice frame with 22" top tube, ovalised seat tube, had mostly LX components so reasonable quality. Takes 1 1/8" headset, 31.8 f/mech, 68mm bb, canti brakes.
Will cost me £7.06 to post so £13 anyone? Comes with original matching quill stem. Can supply UN51 bb, LX f/mech, LX copy pedals from it @ £5 each.

Interesting - I'm tempted by that.

Is there a tubeset sticker?

edit - also - how do you know the year?

there's a '96 stamped under bb. Came with LX STI levers & mechs of around that era but also Exage hubs, painted finish Exage cranks. Has canti bridge & STC-RC brakes were fitted.
Tubeset sticker says 4130 B O2. All tubes & stays built with cold drawn oversize/ovalised tubing.

soak it in WD40, then drill a hole in the Seatpost. Insert a metal bar into said drilled hole and twist.

Failing that, clamp said bar and use the frame as leverage.

It too good to tip!!!! They are quite a good frame.

Maybe use caustic soda to remove the post then ebay the frame?

I would save it only I really don't have time to be messing around with it. Would be painful to see it dumped though!

I have no idea if the frame is any good, but I do know I had to give away for free an Orange clockwork (which I am assuming is probably a brand and model that holds more interest) with a stuck seat post, couldnt sell it for anything, tried various methods of removing the post and got bored of trying.

I think skip will probably be its destiny unless you find some one willing to pick it up free of charge.
