Seeing them Club Roost downhill bars remind me of being 14 / 15 and dreaming of owning a set
Although the frame has a canti bridge, the bike came in just as cantis were going out. As a result, all the ones I saw in the shops had LX M600 Vs, because by that time there was no market for a bike with cantis at the Lava Dome's price level. The Kona importers had to refit them with Vs, otherwise they wouldn't have been sold.superstu":2c0vy4jc said:I might go to canti's instead of V's (poor little canti bridge on the back!) but I wanted to get it being used again before I finished it.

So I'm basically saying that although it has a canti bridge, to be period-correct you should keep the Vs.
