Panaracer Dart hard compound 2.1 canvas wall tyre.
So was about to throw this in the bin and thought someone might want it to match an equally old rear.
I bought it new myself circa 1997ish, used it well for few years (including a tour of the Rift Valley!!) then the rest of bike got nicked so it’s been stored in the garage for last 20ish years.
gave it a good aggressive scrubbing brush scrub with fairy liquid in the bath and seems to of held up ok and come up not to bad. The logo looks great. Doesn’t seem to of dried out to much, but yes some rubber on the bead edge has crumbled off when scrubbing. I think the bead would hold but haven’t tested it.
but for a £10 plus postage I’d go to the effort of boxing it up. (It’s wire bead so won’t fold down into a small box !!
