So let's get this straight.....

I am by no means a master sprayer, the frame and the forks have all been done using just rattle cans purchased from Halfrauds, they were as a close match as I could get and it's taken a lot of faffing, masking and redoing to get this to a point where I'm happy enough to apply the decals.

I still have to create a new head tube badge and the model name decal, I'll get this as close as the pennies and skill allow it and then give it a few clear coats.

For now though, here it is.

Note: I left the stem paint and decals original.

Certainly do! That looks a great job! I can appreciate the work that went into that!

(Not sure I'm entirely comfortable with the term 'home sprayer' but I'll wear it )

Ha! Was going to write DIY, but that felt too amateur... and then I wasn't quite sure what to write and just thought I'd post the message rather than do a bloody Google search to find the correct terminology!

Excellent job. Excellent. 2K rattle can clearcoat? For me, the only option nowadays.

I more than approve , an absolutely lovely paintjob, well done!

The short mask/black fade work in layers on top of the yellow turned out great

I had some bottle cages lined up that looked correct... Ish



But I didn't think they matched well so I resprayed a spare I had and.... Blobbed it.



So I need another now, with the elite logo on the side.

I think I'll use One of the dayglow ones on the swallow instead.

Looks kick ass dude! Don't clearcoat it though until you've pulled out the fills in the 'D' and 'e' of 'Dave'.

Yeah, I noticed that after looking on here, weird .... All the others were done already.
