My classic Merlin Mountain bike is reluctantly up for sale.
I have owned this bike from new (year 2000) and it has largely stayed in the garage with very little use. I have the original Merlin receipt. The bike is in good condition as can be seen from the photographs and all working as it should. The wheels run perfectly true. Certainly never crashed damaged or mistreated.

It is all as originally supplied with regular maintenance but no modifications whatsoever. The only addition is Shimano SPD / Platform pedals as the original was ex pedals.
The tyres are the original WTB Velociraptor with very little wear and no perishing as kept in the dark.
The frame is titanium plated over Tange double butted Cromo tubing with Richey drop outs that Merlin used at this time. The titanium plating gives a durable finish. The Tange DB tubing gives a ride that I like very much, but was at 20” frame size, slightly too big for me. Suits folk 5'10 -6' 4".
27 speed Shimano Deore.
Mavic rims, Stainless steel spokes, Shimano Hubs.
Richey saddle, seatpost, stem and bars.
Logic headset.
Marzocchi Bomber forks.
Price reduced to £220 ono
Inspection welcome.
Cash on collection preferred – near Newmarket CB7 5PJ
