I had to do a tip run on Saturday and whilst we were there Mrs GTLoz wanted to look in the for sale section. Anyway we found what I think is a 16 inch 1996 Kona Fire Mountain. It looks like it's largely original, the spec appears to match the 1996 catalogue except for tyres and saddle. Overall appearance is of a little used but poorly stored bike. I definitely don't need any more projects but I've always fancied a steel kona, so a light refurb will be on the cards. Only issue at the moment is the seat post, which at present appears seized. I will be applying liberal doses of penetrant over the course of the next week or so to see if I can persuade any movement.
