    1998 Kona Project Two Forks

Hi everyone, I have found my old Project Two forks from my 1998 Kona Lava Dome in the garage. They have a few scuffs due to their age but are in good condition. Unfortunately I have no use for them anymore :( Steering column: 19.9cm (7.83 inch) Diameter: 2.9cm (1.15 inch) Looking for £40...

I have the original project 2's for sale from my old 98 Lava Dome if there is any interest in them? I have pics etc but don't want to be breaking any rules on the forum by posting them.

I have done plenty of research, i'm just asking if anyone has direct experience of these bikes. As for the retro, I posted it if the off topic section "forum for discussing new school bikes" :)

Yeah, I sat on a 20" Kona today, it felt nice if not a slight bit too small, don't know if a 22" would be a big jump up though!? No-one seems to have 22" in stock. Must admit, been really really liking the idea of the kona blast but when I saw the cannondale today I was really impressed with it.

Possibly. To be honest i'm that confused because there are sooo many bikes out there! Any on the list I put worth a punt?! Also, quick question. I'm 6"6 would I be better on a 22" frame or on a 20" frame with a higher seatpost?!

Thanks for the great advice Anthony. I spoke to leisure lakes and they have said to bring it in so they can have a nosey. The forks are my main worry at the minute. (I have a bit of a limited budget as i'm trying to save for a trip to Vegas for my friends 30th!) So if they can fit the...

I need some help with the forks/gears please.   I have some project 2’s off my old ’98 Lava Dome, found them last night so want to fit them to this as the current shocks are knackered. Would it be possible to do this. I’m a complete novice at this bike building stuff! I have a leisure lakes...
