    2004 Klein Attitude (1x9)

I like the simplicity, yet bold, statement of the white and brown. Very nice ride you got there. I think tanwall tires like would seal the deal (Panaracer Timbuk II).

Congrats on the sweet build. The photochromatic paint job is unique. I only recall the black paint from back in the day.

    Catamount MFS

The Zorro is an interesting bike. It's designed to run with many wheel size combinations: 26/26, 26/29 or 29/29. That photo I posted shows it with a 26/29 combo. The shock position is adjustable to allow for the change in headtube angles to accommodate the variety. I read that it's more...

I wanted a Breezer Twister back in the day, but there were significantly more expensive than the Catamount, twice a much I recall. If one shows up on eBay, I might be tempted...

Thank you Mr K. These URT/Sweet Spot bikes benefit greatly from modern day platform forks, like the SPV Manitou Minute I am running. The SPV helps negate the inch worm effect these bikes have when applying just the front brake. As a result, these bikes ride/perform better now in 2010 than...

    Catamount MFS

Yes, indeed the Catamount was part of the whole herd of URT bikes from the mid to late 1990's: Klein Mantra, Breezer Twister, Ibis Szazbo, Schwinn Homegrown, Control Tech, Even WTB had one. The fanciest of these was the titanium pivotless variation, the Ibis BowTi.

    Catamount MFS

First off, here is my recently rebuilt Catamount. It's been hanging in the attic since 2004. I retired it and transferred the parts over to a Turner Burner back then, as I was riding rougher trails and wanted a more active rear suspsension. After reading that John Castellano recently...

    Catamount MFS

Greetings fellow riders! I wanted to start a thread for the Catamount MFS full suspension bike (1995-2001) because info on these bikes is hard to track down, even online. There is a thread I started over on MTBR, but I think it's more appropriate over here on a retro based forum since we...

    1998 Barracuda Cuda Cat XC

Thanks for the compliment on my Catamount. These Catamount frames are hard to come by, not out of demand or collector status, but because they never really sold many. It was a small two-man operation that sold directly on the web and phone. Most people seemed to have bought it sight unseen...

Installing Supercycles/DDG Disc brake adaptor - problem

I have a question... Did you drill into the dropout to accommodate for the screw that keeps the plate in place at the dropout, anchoring it? I am thinking about one of these adapters.

Here's the Catamount geometry/fit chart incase it comes in handy for your search for the right size. The size noted as "Larry" is a reference to the then owner of Catamount. I like the Catamount. I've had mine for years and recently took it down from the attic and built it up some some...
