I bought it as a P7 -- I don't think the shop would have had sticker sets made up for all the bikes they had in.

I bought the bike new from Maclaine Cycles in Perton near Wolverhampton. It was a new line they just had in and I just had to have one. Maclaines later moved to School street in Wolves. Now part of Leisure Lakes dynasty !! Mine was just one of many P7s they sold.

:oops: me bad its my only bike it suits my height ( too much) and style ( lack of ehh) :lol: I don't know of any other way of getting the extra height at the front end. I am long term sufferer of back aches n pains ( fell out of conker tree at age 11 15ft or so still holding the branch...

More like 1992 after digging around. Would anyone know if the Manitou (1's) elastomers and steerer tube fit ? Might be an easier option!!

Ta fingers. Just need to find cheap forks or new elastomers and steerer tube for my shocktech forks ( hopefully the later )

Before I go mental. Am I right in my measurements of the steerer on my forks being only 1". I admit to being a numpty some of the time but not all of the time. I'm after some cheap suspension forks for a charity coast to coast ride next May. Hopefully to take the sting from my wrists !! Loads...

yep I know makes it very comfy ride for me though.. They come about after I trashed the original bar set up when the Zoom stem snaped after putting down the front end from a wheelie . I followed the bars ( still holding them) to the floor infront of the bike with me cleated in. Destroyed...

elastomers are shot. will try local bike shop to see if they have any replacements otherwise they will get hung on the wall next to my huffy pro lightning BMX !! :(

I have some almost mint shocktech forks that I bought for my previous bike. I then bought a P7 but didn't get round to fitting the forks ( dohhh) :roll: I think they are no longer trading. I need the threaded steerer tube to fit a 21" orange P7 circa 1996. Any help would be great.
