You need to remove the dust cover on the non-drive side. Campag made a special extractor to pull it off. You can lever it off with a screwdriver but be warned it is easily marked. I believe you can use a battery terminal puller to remove it as well. On Velobase ...

I've been overhauling an Italian frame and the non-drive BB cup won't budge. I've snapped the pins off my two pin BB spanner and tried the Sheldon Brown Nut'N'Bolt method with no luck. The BB is an OMAS "Big Sliding" with a Ti axle and cartridge bearings. I'm not sure if it is corroded or a...

The bit that screws into the crank is reverse threaded and should come out with a peg spanner ( or a pointy pair of pliers ).
