I know these barely scrape in as retro but i know there are a lot of pace racing fans on here so i would like to see them go to a good home.
Used for a short time on my RC200 but i'v since gone more modern.
Previously owned by my LBS owners wife and only saw light action.
compression...
Pace Stem now sold..
would really like to get these forks out my way - and find a new home for the frame if possible.
will take sensible offers on the forks - really dont want to put them on ebay!!
For anyone interested, i got one of these saddles off ebay a while ago quite cheap - and they do exactly what you would expect! theyre very light and pretty damn comfortable considering the lack of - er - saddle!
cant go wrong at that price!
sorry for the hijack!
hi there,
a while back i built up my "dream bike" and as fun and retro as it was i got bored of it. i've had loads of bikes and i do have a habit of getting bored easily but i'm glad i built it.
As a result i have some lightly used Pace forks for sale.
I bought them from my LBS where...
i had some evoIIs the travel is adjustable, 90mm is the max but i cant remeber if the lower setting was 65 or 70mm
iirc its just a case of dropping the lowers off, knocking out a rolled pin and moving a spring and a washer.
hope this is some help
condition not really stated but looked ok in advert. arrived super fast and i would have been happy if they had been described 'as new'
to reitterate - would definately deal with again.
thanks
ahh, all these acronyms flying around!, iv been out of the biking scene for 3-4 years and i dont even know what my cranks are!
hell i had to take it to the LBS cause my BB tool was out-of-date!
i take my spec reading remark back!
having been an avid [brake pun] biker for a good few years, i always laugh [to myself] when i hear novice riders, and parents telling their kids to
'only use the back brake, if you use the front you will go over the handlebars'
i sometimes wonder what it is in their head that makes them...
i may go ebb route, but not SS dropouts, too much hassle for rear disk setup in my experience! the cranks are modified M960s - read the spec! it too ages to write!
stickers all over what? my shed?!
well, i have been busy!
after building probably my 10th bike in the kitchen i decided it was about time i bought a bike workstand. but knowing the reason i didnt have one was becuase all the sensibly priced ones i had seen were wobbly and flimsy i set about making one!
after an hour or so...
