I think those crank arms gives it away. You could remove the text on it with some 60 sandpaper. Maybe give the whole crank a once-over with it ? The cassette looks very rusty ! I was going to suggest a non-chrome cassette, but that one is great too.

I my Hei Hei, I have always used 107mm BB. I never had any issues at all with the front der reaching the smallest ring. As I remember there was travel left over. Can't remember the seat tube diameter, but you only lose half the diameter difference, so I am pretty sure you will be ok.

I have bought bikes from the US. I am not sure which shipping company I used but probably UPS or the US post. No idea what I paid but UPS has a pretty good shipping calculator. If there is a freight forwarder where you live that is probably cheaper. Takes a long time with a boat though.

Group and frame is bulletproof. I rode mine to and from school for three years in salt and grime. That was hard miles. Then it's been ridden for more than 20 years afterward. Never needed to change anything but chain, cogs and other wear items.
